About Me
大家好,我是阳行意,刚刚从新加坡国立大学(NUS)电子工程学院博士毕业,即将于2025年秋季加入香港理工大学(PolyU)数据科学与人工智能系(Department of Data Science and Artificial Intelligence, DSAI)担任助理教授,并获得 “校长青年学者”(Presidential Young Scholar) 计划支持。 I am Xingyi Yang. I will be joining The Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU) as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Data Science and Artificial Intelligence (DSAI) in Fall 2025, supported by the Presidential Young Scholar Scheme. I recently obtained my Ph.D. from the National University of Singapore (NUS).

I am establishing a new research group dedicated to cutting-edge AI, with a focus on Generative AI, Multimodal Learning, Efficient AI, and Agentic AI. During my PhD, I was a visiting researcher at the University of Oxford, collaborating with Prof. Philip Torr (Fellow of the Royal Academy of Engineering). I received my B.Eng. from Southeast University and my M.S. from UC San Diego.

My work has been published in top-tier venues, including NeurIPS, ICML, ICLR, CVPR, ICCV, and ECCV, and has received several honors, such as the NeurIPS 2022 Best Paper Honorable Mention and the 2023 Chinese Government Award for Outstanding Self-Financed Students Abroad.

我目前计划招收 2–3 名 2026 年春季或秋季入学的博士生 (Ph.D.)。春季入学申请的截止日期是 9 月 30 日。学校也支持联合培养或双学位博士项目。如果你条件优秀,也非常欢迎申请 香港博士奖学金(HKPFS),我会提供所需帮助。 I plan to recruit 2–3 Ph.D. students for Spring/Fall 2026 admission. The deadline for Spring admission is September 30th. Outstanding candidates are strongly encouraged to apply for the Hong Kong PhD Fellowship Scheme (HKPFS), for which I will provide full support.
我预计招收 1–2 位博士后(Postdoc)和研究助理(RA),岗位常年开放,薪资优厚,入职时间可灵活协商。 I am also looking for 1–2 Postdocs and RAs. These positions are open year-round with competitive salaries and flexible start dates.
