What a Linear Map Changes
Key concept: A matrix W transforms space by stretching, rotating, or reshaping it.
Apply a 2×2 matrix W to a grid, circle, and point cloud. Ghost positions, displacement lines, singular axes, and histograms show how the geometry and spread change.
What to look for: play the morph to see the circle become an ellipse. Points move farthest along the dominant stretch direction.
